Hamptons are proud to be working with an established, childcare focussed organisation who are looking to invite x3 Senior Children’s Residential Care Workers to join their hardworking, experienced team. These roles span across 3 out of 5 of their Good – Outstanding rated homes, in the Greater Manchester area.
Overview of the role:
The Senior Residential Care Worker has responsibility towards ensuring the day-to-day running of the home is safe and fulfilling for the young people and the Residential Care Workers are all aware of the expectations on them on behalf of the Registered Manager and the organisation. The Senior must ensure that the needs of the young people are always met. Which means ensuring that the children and young people are in safe and comfortable environment.
As a senior you will have responsibilities to support people management, health and safety, personal management, development, safeguarding, and general day to day running of the home.
What is needed to be the right candidate for the role:
- Clean, full UK driving licence is desirable.
- Experience supporting children and a compassionate, mindful approach to young people and your important role in their day-to-day life
- Experience in the development of care plans and associated documentation.
- Flexibility for shift patterns and sleep ins.
- QCF L3 / NVQ in Children & Young People’s Social Care
- Eligibility / right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
