A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join a Family Assessment Centre in Hendon, Greater London. This is a pivotal role, working directly with families to carry out robust, high-quality assessments while offering clear professional guidance and support. You’ll play an essential part in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and child-focused environment throughout the assessment journey.

The role: 

  • Complete high-quality, evidence-based family and parenting assessments.
  • Work directly with parents and children to monitor interactions and provide professional guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory, legal, and organisational standards.
  • Foster a safe and welcoming environment that prioritises the wellbeing of children and families.

About you:

  • NVQ Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Social Work
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Social Worker within family assessments is mandatory. 
  • Experienced in handling complex children and family court cases and/or experience of child protection investigations.
