Social Worker

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to provide high-quality social care services to children, young people, adults, and families. You will manage a varied caseload, undertake detailed assessments, and play a key role in safeguarding and improving outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing casework in line with service standards and timescales
  • Safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults
  • Undertaking in-depth family assessments focused on risk, need, and capacity to change
  • Delivering tailored, evidence-based interventions
  • Producing high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, including courts
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies
  • Supporting service development and contributing to best practice

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will work across services in the North West, supporting individuals with complex needs. 

About You

You will be a qualified and registered Social Worker with a strong understanding of safeguarding and statutory frameworks.

You will also have:

  • Experience managing a caseload and working to deadlines
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Confidence in producing clear, evidence-based reports
  • The ability to build effective relationships with families and professionals
  • A proactive and flexible approach
  • A commitment to continuous professional development

About Us

Our client is an established social care provider with over 25 years’ experience, operating across a range of services including residential care, family assessment, supported living, and learning disability support.
