Interim Strategic Commissioner (Learning Disability and Autism)
We’re looking for an experienced commissioner to join our Adult Social Care:
Lead the delivery of the action plans associated with our current commissioning Learning Disabilities and Autism strategies. Also further developing the Learning Disabilities Strategy to become all age in approach and developing a new all age neurodivergence strategy.
- Undertake a series of commissioning reviews and oversee tenders:
- Advocacy services
- Breaks for Carers (Residential Respite provision)
- Day Opportunities
- Shared Lives
About You:
You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Learning Disabilities and Neurodivergence including Autism.
You will have proven experience working within Learning Disabilities and Autism / Neurodivergence in a senior commissioning role and a strong understanding of relevant legislation
You will have extensive strategic commissioning experience working in Adult Social Care and be a subject matter expert in the field of Learning Disabilities and Neurodivergence.
You will have excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
With a collaborative, innovative mindset you will have the ability to turn policy into practice, translate our vision into reality and deliver impactful solutions for local residents
