Here at Hamptons we are delighted to be working in partnership with  a well-established and dedicated residential care provider who are seeking a Support Accommodation Manager to oversee their Ofsted regulated services across Orpington and Eltham. If you are an experienced manager with proven knowledge of leadership in an Ofsted regulated setting this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role: Supported Accommodation Manager

  • Responsibility for the management of services, including staff management and supervision, placement planning, support, safeguarding, communications, report writing and monitoring quality and compliance
  • Ensure that staff have the skills, experience and qualifications required to meet the needs of each young person and provide continuity of care and support
  • Maintain professional relationships with the team around the child (TAC), multi-agency partnerships and where appropriate parents, families and other stakeholders
  • Ensure that each young person has individual support and support planning which is tailored to their specific needs and requirements as laid out in their relevant plans
  • Responsible for the regular supervision of the staff team reviewing and monitoring standards, caseloads and practice development

About You:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or a preparedness to work towards the same
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and inspection frameworks and quality standards for residential child care
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a residential setting for young people at managerial level
  • Ability to lead a staff team ensuring a consistent approach and high quality of support
  • Ability to create clear, concise reports and policies
  • Must have a valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle
