We are pleased to be supporting a residential and supported accommodation provider seeking a committed and motivated leader to join their service. Role Overview:
In this role, you will support the effective running of a residential or supported living service, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance. You will play a vital part in promoting positive outcomes for children and young people while contributing to a culture that is supportive, aspirational and child-centred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the service in line with relevant legislation, regulations and standards
• Promoting the welfare, rights and well-being of children and young people at all times
• Ensuring care and support plans are implemented effectively to meet individual needs
• Working in line with regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted requirements
• Contributing to a safe, nurturing and stable environment for young people
• Supporting and working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, equality and inclusive practice
Person Specification:
You will be an experienced care professional with a strong understanding of residential or supported living services. You will be committed, compassionate and motivated to support children and young people to thrive.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within children’s, young people’s or adults’ care/support services (residential or supported living)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards this (where appropriate)
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, legislation and standards, including Ofsted requirements
• A clear commitment to promoting the welfare, rights and well-being of children and young people
