Hamptons are proud to be working in close partnership with one of the UK’s leading Family Assessment Centre’s to help recruit for a capable and resilient Case Manager to take responsibility for assessments as well as overseeing a small team of social workers. This role is based in the Coventry area and provides the perfect opportunity for an experienced Case Manager to take on some challenging assessments or for a social worker looking for career progression!
The Role: Case Manager
- To be part of the Senior Management Team which is responsible for undertaking comprehensive assessments with vulnerable children and their families in a residential and community-based setting
- To work with parents/carers, social workers and relevant others on placement plans, work programmes and interventions which address identified needs
- Be responsible for the quality and standards of service provision and performance management processes for the staff team
- Devising, implementing, supervising and evaluating work programmes incorporating direct interventions which will inform the recommendations made
About you:
- Must be social work qualified (and be registered with Social Work England)
- Experience of working with children and families in the field of Safeguarding/Child Protection
- Knowledge of child development, parenting skills and risk assessment management
- Excellent report writing and court skills as well as the ability to form effective relationships with a range of clients/staff
- Be available to carry out on call duties
