We’re offering an opportunity based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire to be part of a dedicated residential service supporting children with emotional behavioural disorder.  You’ll help create a safe, supportive environment that promotes emotional, social, and physical development – all within a collaborative and inclusive care setting.

The role: 

  •  Offering one-to-one guidance and support to help young people work through past and current challenges.
  • Supervise care staff during shifts to ensure adherence to home policies, care plans, and professional standards.
  • Plan and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage and smooth day-to-day operations within the home.
  • Undertaking essential domestic tasks to support a safe, nurturing, and well-maintained home environment.

About you:

  • Hold NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent. 
  • Must have previous experience working with children in a residential setting. 
  • Must hold a clean driving licence.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary up to £15 per hour.
  • Annual leave entitlement.
