The Role: Team Leader – Substance Misuse
About the role:
Hamptons are working in partnership with our Client a well-known and respected Drug, Alcohol and Mental Health support provider. As a result of their continued passion to provide the highest standard of care, we are supporting them to recruit an experienced Team Leader. The appointed Manager will be responsible for the oversight of a team of recovery workers. They will hold a lot of accountability within the service, oversight of quality assurance, safeguarding and delivering targets. They will also have oversight of the criminal justice team and so experience in this area would be desirable.
This is a high intensity service supporting a diverse group of service users, and so our client are seeking a candidate with experience in the Drug & Alcohol / Mental Health Support sector at Team Leader level. You will be overseeing an experienced team and working with some very experienced NHS partners so the ability to be confident in making key decisions is essential. You will also be working closely with the offender management team and so experience around criminal justice would be beneficial.
About You:
• NVQ level 3 Diploma in Health & Social care or above.
• Experience as a team leader within in a similar service.
• Experience of working within Drug & Alcohol / Substances Misuse services / Criminal Justice.
• The ability to maintain high standards.
• Confidence in making key decisions.
• A deeply compassionate nature with a commitment to making a difference to lives.
• A driven mindset to get the job done efficiently but also in line with our client’s ethos and values.
• A track record of management responsibility and developing a team in the Health and Social Care sector.
