The Role: Senior SEND Officers

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the planning and delivery of SEND services, focusing on the transition to adulthood.
– Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that support young adults in achieving their aspirations.
– Represent the team in tribunals, showcasing strong negotiation and advocacy skills to uphold the rights and interests of individuals with SEND.

About You:
– Proven senior-level experience in a SEND environment, with a track record of successful team leadership and project management.
– Adept at managing complex cases and making informed decisions that align with legal frameworks and best practices.
– Previous PfA experience
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including young people, families, and professionals.
– Experience in tribunal proceedings, demonstrating resilience and the capacity to articulate and defend decisions under scrutiny.

About The Client: 
As the Senior Officer, you will be working closely with the Preperation for Adulthood Lead Officer.
This local authority is based within the South East of England.
