About You:
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic leader to steer the course of a children's home in Stockton-on-Tees, this role calls for an individual with a heart for making a significant difference in the lives of young people. The home, currently rated as “Good” by Ofsted, provides specialised care for one young person with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD), operating as a solo provision.
The ideal candidate will possess a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification, showcasing a comprehensive grasp of the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. A seasoned leader, the candidate will have a history of recruiting, nurturing, and overseeing a committed team, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently met.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are paramount, as is the ability to build a cohesive team environment and offer robust support to staff. The role requires dedication to excellence in care, a zeal for ongoing enhancement of service quality, and the resilience and adaptability to manage challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
